SWH was MIA (in deepest Belgium at a msucial retreat with no internets), but is now back in the 21st century and ready to go. I saw Nick (liblo maintainer) the week before I left too.

Hmm. A MIDI meter could show velocity as peaks and be thin for monophonic material and grow if more notes are hit.

A MIDI fader should send controller 7 by default, I guess. Scaling velocity or switching to another controller number could be options. Then again, scaling velocity is a candidate for a plugin.

Glad to hear you're back on track (you punny guy!)

I know how you feel about losing your flow. Just remember that as pumped as you are about it, there are legions (okay, maybe just squadrons) of Ardour fans out there wishing you the best.

It's present in the last 2 versions up through and including SVN. Pretty glaring show-stopper of a bug, which surprises me, but oh well.

It would certainly be nice to have one big model, but debugging Rasqal would probably be way too huge of a digression and it's in flux at the moment anyway. For now I'll take the path of abstracting it away fully so it can change in the future without breaking the API at all.

A forced dependency on a very recent Redland (once it even got released with the fixes, which would take a while) wouldn't be the greatest thing for LV2 anyway.
